What: The Skagit County Bar Association, the Skagit County Volunteer Lawyer Program, and the Liberty Bell Award Committee invite all of those involved in law and justice, as well as support staff, and members of our community, to attend the 2021 Law Day Virtual Cocktail Hour and Liberty Bell Award Ceremony.

When: Tuesday, May 4. 
4:50 p.m. to 5 p.m. Mixology with Brian from Revival Cocktails
Formal program begins at 5 p.m.

Where: By Zoom – login information will be sent to all registrants before the event.

Why: In 1958 President Dwight Eisenhower established Law Day as “a day of national dedication to the principle of government under law.” Commemorated annually since that date, Law Day programs are conducted throughout the country by bar associations, courts, schools, and civic groups. This year’s theme honors “Advancing the Rule of Law Now.”

Cost: $20, includes drink kit delivery

Law Day Clinic May 1st:  The Annual Law Day Clinic will be held on Saturday, May 1, and we are looking for volunteers; registration to volunteer will be circulated soon in a separate email.
