Skagit County Superior Court appoints new Commissioner

The Skagit County Superior Court Judges are pleased to announce the appointment of Rebecca Carroll to serve as a Superior Court Commissioner. Commissioner Carroll will preside over ITA hearings and other court calendars as needed.

Ms. Carroll received her bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Washington and her Juris Doctor Law Degree from Seattle University. She has extensive private practice experience in the areas of guardianship/conservatorship, adoptions, civil contempt, and mental health cases. As a public defender, Ms. Carroll represented clients in dependency cases, juvenile matters, probation violations, drug court and civil contempt. Ms. Carroll previously served as a Pro Tem Commissioner for Skagit Superior Court. In her spare time, Ms. Carroll volunteers with Youthnet and is the CLE chair for the SCBA.

Please join Superior Court for a swearing-in ceremony on Monday, October 30th at 4pm in the Superior Courthouse, 205 W. Kincaid Street, Mount Vernon.
